Hassan Alosh, MD is a board-certified and fellowship-trained orthopaedic surgeon specializing in hip and knee joint preservation and reconstruction. Dr. Alosh utilizes minimally-invasive approaches for knee replacement, anterior hip replacement, partial joint replacement, and joint preservation.
Dr. Alosh has trained at the nation's top institutions. He obtained his medical degree at Johns Hopkins University, where he was awarded a research grant to perform ground-breaking studies on surgical outcomes. He then went on to complete his orthopaedic surgery residency at the University of Pennsylvania. There, he was awarded the prestigious Marvin Steinberg, MD award for clinical and surgical excellence in the field of joint replacement. He also published over a dozen peer-reviewed scientific articles and wrote three book chapters.
Finally, he completed an additional year of fellowship training in Chicago with the orthopaedic faculty of Rush Medical Center, the foremost international experts on minimally invasive joint reconstruction and team physicians to the Chicago Bulls and White Sox.
